If there is a problem with your order, please let us know. We want you to enjoy your shopping experience with us. Please look below for specific returns policies.
Are you missing an item in your order? Please let us know within 10 days of receiving the order and we will ship the missing item(s) to you at no charge. Email email@example.com. We will not be responsible for missing items after 10 days from the date of delivery (so check your shipment carefully).
Received wrong item
Did you receive a different item or size than you ordered? No problem. Email firstname.lastname@example.org within 10 days of the purchase date and mail it back to us within 30 days. Youll be given instructions on how to mail it back to us. Well cover the cost of shipping and after we receive it, well send you the right item at our expense. Did you order the wrong item or size? You can mail back an unused, undamaged item at your expense and we will exchange it for the item you want. Shipping costs will still apply.
Did you receive a damaged item? Contact us within 30 days of the purchase date. Mail it back to us at our expense and well replace it. Email email@example.com.
If you received the wrong item or if an item is damaged and you would like a refund instead of a replacement, we can do that. Email firstname.lastname@example.org and ship the item back to us, and then we will notify you by email when we receive the returned item. Usually, a refund takes 3 to 5 business days after receiving the item. Refunds are made in the same payment form as originally used to purchase the item (i.e. if you used a Discover Card to purchase the item, then we will credit your Discover Card). Original and return shipping charges will be refunded only if the return is the result of our error. If you are returning an item of a multi-item order, you will be refunded only the portion of shipping corresponding with the returned item. Please note that we will not give refunds or exchanges after 30 days of the date of purchase.
If you would like to return or exchange an item that is not damaged and was the correct item ordered, you may do so if it is in the original condition within 30 days of the date of purchase. Please note that there is a $2 restocking fee for each item and additional shipping charges will be charged for the items being exchanged. Original shipping costs are not refundable.
We know that you care about your personal information both how it is used and how it is shared. We take your privacy seriously. Below is our privacy and security policy. If you are a customer, we will email you about any changes to the policy. We also encourage you to check back, since we reserve the right to change these policies. All updates are dated so that you know if and when any changes have occurred.

Yes. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Software which encrypts personal information.
Do we share your information?
We do not share your information with other companies for marketing purposes. We dont like it when others do that to us, and we wont do that to you. When necessary, we do, of course, share information such as your address (with the shipping company delivering your package) or your credit card information (with the company that processes your purchase from our site). All of these companies also maintain high levels of security and cannot use your information for any purposes other than what it is intended for.

How to place an order
In 5 easy steps:
- Look through the various products we have on our site.
- When you find something you like, select the size and quantity you want and click Add to my cart.
- You can continue shopping if youd like by clicking, Continue shopping.
- When you are done shopping, click, Checkout.
- During the checkout process you will be asked to enter your shipping and billing information and to verify your order. You will receive an email confirming your order. After shipment, you will also receive a confirmation email.
How do I pay for my order?
You can pay with MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.
How much will shipping cost me?
Shipping costs vary and are determined by the amount purchased and where they are being shipped to. To determine the exact amount for shipping feel free to proceed to the checkout process, enter the shipping information and shipping costs will be displayed.
Why do some shirts cost more?
Shirts cost different amounts based on the cost of production. Some shirts cost more because they have more elaborate screen-printing. Fair trade and organics also cost more. Some shirts have all their profits go to a particular group or cause. These shirts are priced in such a way as to give a significant amount to that group.
Why do you say you promote fair trade or sweatshop free apparel but not all of your shirts are sweatshop free or fair trade?
Currently, all of our shirts are organic, but not all are sweatshop free or fair trade. It is our desire and goal to move to a complete line of organic, sweatshop free, and fair trade clothing. However, it has been hard to find reliable producers of quality clothing that meet these requirements (even with months of research). Weve found a couple companies that are promising and we will begin to carry their clothes and see how they wear (and sell for that matter). Our eventual goal is to have our own label of clothing that meets all of these standards.
Can I pick up my order?
Sorry, but we dont have an office location set up for order pick up.
Can I order over the phone?
As of right now we are not taking phone orders. Hopefully that will change as we grow.
Im an overseas costumer. Will you ship to me?
Were sorry. At this time we are only shipping to US and Canadian customers.
Can I add another shirt to my order?
Once you click Purchase, your order cannot be changed. Please make sure to verify your order during the checkout process. Of course you can make additional orders if you forgot something.
How do the shirts fit?
Our various shirts fit differently, depending on the make. Our womens shirts are fitted and run small. Be forewarned. Our mens shirts come from a variety of producers. Some run quite large, like the Lift your conscience shirt and the Let girls fly a kite, the others are more fitted. Check to see the shirts description for sizing information.
How do I care for the shirts?
Very gently. Shirts are sensitive and want to know that you care about them. OK, but seriously, our shirts are made from a variety of materials and have different care instructions. Check the tag and follow the directions.
Did you know that you misspelled tambourine on the Arm the People shirt?
Yep. Its true. But, most people (even really good spellers) dont know how tambourine is spelled. So, were hoping most people will not notice.
Do you sell in my area?
We are currently not selling in local stores, but if and when we do, well post a list of locations here.
Do you offer wholesale?
Currently we do not offer wholesale.
Do you make shirts to order? Would you print shirts for my organization?
Sorry. We dont offer that as an option at this time.
We love this planet and want to take care of it. . As much as possible, the materials we use in shipping (and for everything else for that matter) is made with recycled materials. Please recycle the packaging materials or even find a creative way to reuse them. Lets work together to cut down the waste in our landfills!
What shipping options do you offer?
We ship using USPS (United States Postal Service). You can ship regular parcel post/first class, priority (2-3 business days) and express (1-2 business days).
